Collection 03 is a collaboration between puestoFIERA and Madrid-based artist Tere Segovia.

Tere Segovia's practice is based on the appropriation and decontextualisation of the contemporary collective imaginary through painting and installation. With irony as her main critical strategy, the artist manipulates images from pop culture and brings them into her own personal creative universe. Fiction and humour to reflect on our lives in late capitalism.

In this collection, called Sobremesa de desayuno, the artist has created three series of cups in which she reflects on the erotic and possessive desire that mediates our relationship with everyday images. The excessive joy of some breakfast cups or the cheesiness of those GIFs in which roses, hearts and Tweety Birds say good morning are perverted to give way to a new imaginary. Playing with double meanings, Segovia's pieces draw attention to the dissonances between symbols and the realities they conceal.

Tere Segovia (Madrid, 1997) studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid (2015-2020). After graduating, she went on to study for a Master's degree in Fashion Design and Management at the IADE (2021-2022). From then on, she combined her artistic practice with work related to styling and wardrobe. In 2023 she received a scholarship for a residency at Casa Antillón. As a result of this residency, she creates her first exhibition, Teddy Beer. In 2024 she held her second exhibition, Players, at the Bate Social Store in Madrid.
